CBC Music Experience

Interactive Audio Sculpture

Original concept by CBC. Engineered, fabricated, installed, and brought to life by Rovü.

Originally commissioned for the CBC Lethbridge launch before becoming a featured public activation at the 2023 Juno Awards, touring Calgary Public Libraries, and the Calgary International Film Festival.

Project Overview

Public art has the ability to transform everyday environments into memorable cultural experiences.

Working alongside CBC, Rovü engineered, fabricated, and installed a monumental interactive headphone sculpture featuring integrated audio. Visitors stepped inside the installation to experience curated music while becoming part of the activation itself.

Originally commissioned for Lethbridge, the installation later became a featured destination during the 2023 Juno Awards before continuing throughout Alberta as part of CBC's touring public engagement program.

Project Impact

Where Design Meets Culture

The CBC Music Experience demonstrates Rovü's ability to deliver nationally recognized public installations through collaboration, engineering, and craftsmanship. From fabrication and logistics to on-site execution, the project illustrates how thoughtful design can strengthen cultural programming, activate public space, and create lasting community engagement.

The most successful spaces don't simply attract attention—they create lasting memories. Whether for a public space, cultural institution, commercial development, or brand activation, thoughtfully designed experiences encourage interaction, strengthen identity, and leave a lasting impression long after the event has ended.

If you're exploring an installation, sculpture, or immersive environment that brings people together and reflects the character of your organization, Rovü welcomes the opportunity to collaborate.
